The dean of students office is the students welfare hub of KTTI. The Dean and Deputy Dean are the lawyers, advocates, and advisors in their general welfare. They are the go-between the students and the entire administration.
The demands of the Technical life, coupled with need to achieve high academic goals and requirements to make mental, physical and emotional adjustments call for a supportive environment to be provided to the students
The Dean of students office steers the students Welfare Department to provide such supportive environment that enables our students to excel.
As a result, our office is one of the busiest in KTTI and we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our cell phones are on throughout the day and night. This ensures that the students can reach us at all times and we can attend to them anytime they need us.
For us to give the students and the staff better services, we collaborate with all other College departments, KATTISO leadership and the Administration. Many of the issues and problems brought to our attention are dealt with in our office.
Working in Dean’s office is challenging and requires the skills of listening, patience, positive thinking and the unconditional acceptance of all students. Such skills help us to be productive and to deal with both very serious issues and the trivial ones. For us, all issues affecting the students are important and must be listened to and dealt with in a satisfactory manner.
In this office, our joy is when things are running smoothly in the Institute and when we succeed in giving excellent service to our clients, “the students”.
