
The Examinations office is headed by the Examinations Officer who is assisted by an assistant and it has FOUR major functions:
- Storage of and issuance of students academic documents
- Registration of candidates for external examinations with bodies like KNEC, KASNEB and City & Guilds.
- Administration of internal examinations.
- Ensuring proper flow of communication from examination bodies to the students.
ISSUANCE OF ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS
The following items will be required to enable you to collect the documents listed below:

NOTE:
- Students who have lost their identity cards MUST produce a valid Police Abstract. The I.D. Number MUST be indicated on the Abstract.
- If one or more names on the document you wish to collect are different or missing from your I.D. card, then you must produce an Affidavit.
- Those who completed their courses before and have lost their leaving certificates should seek clearance from the Registrar.
The above documents can only be issued to the rightful owner and not to a third party.
K.N.E.C REGISTRATION
KNEC Examinations are done twice in a year July series and November series. Registration for KNEC examinations is done twice in a year. January to March for July examinations and May to July for November Examinations.
In order for a student to be registered for KNEC examinations they must pay full institute fees plus examinations fees. It is upon every student to ensure that the details given are accurate in order to ensure proper registration.
KASNEB examinations registration is as per the KASNEB schedule.
INTERNAL EXAMINATIONS
According to the KTTI Examinations Rules and Regulations on examinations, the Head of Department should ensure that there are examination papers per subject in the bank one month to the start of the examinations. Students are advised to ensure they comply with the institute rules so as to have an examinations card before the start of internal examinations.
PROCESSING OF EXAMINATIONS
Exams results are processed and cross-checked by the examination officer before release. Upon release of the results the Examinations Officer ensures safe storage and communication to the candidates.
