The Department strives to meet the institutes mission and vision of providing quality and relevant technical training responsive to the dynamic market needs.

Applied science department is compose of two sections;
I. General Agriculture section
II. Food and Beverage section

We offer the following KNEC Examined courses:

Artisan in General Agriculture(TEP) 1 Year K.C.S.E mean grade D (Minus) Jan
Craft certificate in food and beverage production, sales and service(modular) Mod I-3 terms
Mod II- 3 Terms (inclusive of industrial attachment
K.C.S.E mean grade D (plain) May/Sept

The department has rollout a one year CBET Course in poultry production and hatchery operations level 5 which will be examined by Kaiboi Technical Training Institute and CDACC. Intake periods will be Jan/May/Sept. in addition, plans are underway to launch a Diploma Course in Food and Beverage production, sales and service.
