KTTI library operates at the modern trends of education in order to develop critical thinking for individuals who should prove to be self-reliant in all spheres of human life.
The library consists of trio i.e. the books, readers and the librarian. The librarian is properly called the matchmaker of the beautiful bride- the book and the curious bridegroom- the reader, with the help of the laws of library science which continually goad him to achieve the ideal set before him. This is as mentioned bellow for comprehending the proper place of library in the realm of education:-
1. Books are for use(not for preservation)
2. Every reader His/Her books.
3. Every book its reader
4. Save the time of the reader
5. Library is a growing organism.
The library faces the main gate of the institute and is known as the Kaiboi T.T.I Library. It was established the year 1969 since then the library has grown as a center for global information access and dissemination. It is currently a 300 sitter library fully equipped. The Library runs through the automated library management system.
The library provides and disseminates information for academic excellence and self empowerment of our students.
The library provides information and library services for the entire Institute and the surrounding community from the secondary schools, primary schools and other institutions. The library has rich collection of information resources in both print and electronic formats. The electronic formats may be accessed at fully equipped cyber cafe located within the library. The library offers personalized services to our users.

Issues
KTTI students are always allowed to borrow one book at a time while lecturers are allowed to borrow up to a maximum of 3 books for a period of 2weeks.
CD-ROMs
CD-ROM refers to Compact Discs – Read Only Memory. CD-ROM is a storage medium that stores large amounts of information in a digital format that it is accessed optically via digital translation devices such as computer systems.Currently some books are available in hard and soft copy and is available to be used within the library.
THE INTERNET
The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Protocol Suite (TCP/IP) to serve billions of users worldwide. The Internet carries a vast array of information resources and services, most notably the inter-linked hypertext documents of the World Wide Web (www) and the infrastructure to support electronic mail (email).
CURRENT AWARENESS SERVICES-(CAS)
This is a system for notifying users on a periodic basis of the acquisition, by a central file or library bulletin board, of information (mostly literature) which should be of interest to the user. The role of CAS is to: Alert users to new books or journal material received in the library.
SELECTIVE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION – (SDI)
SDI is a current awareness system which alerts you to the latest publications in your specified field(s) of interest. Selective Dissemination of Information assists user in keeping up-to-date current literature in particular subject areas an also help users cope with information overload.

The concept of Rules and Regulations is to facilitate equitable access and use as well as care of the Library IMs necessitating an element of fines. Hence, the library promotes conducive environment for study and research.

FINES AND PENALTIES
1. Lost or mutilated damaged information materials/equipment on loan and any library equipment will be replaced with full cost of the item on current market value plus25%administrativecharges.
2. Replacement of library cards will attract a fee of 50/=
3. Delays with long loan library books will attract 2/= per day
4. Delays with short loan materials will attract 5/= per hour
5. Users with overdue information materials will not be allowed to borrow until they clear with the library cards
LIABILITY
1. Users are required to ensure that valuable items (such as money, laptops, phones etc) are not left in the baggage area.
2. The library will not be held responsible for loss of any property left unattended in the library by users
