The Kaiboi National Polytechnic

The Mechanical Engineering department is one of flagship departments at KAIBOI NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC. Mechanical engineering has been offered in KAIBOI both during the days when the institute was a technical high school to date.
The department has undergone several transformations in its life as a technical training provider.

3. Mechanical Engineering Production
4. Welding technology
5. Agricultural engineering
6. Driving

The programs are tailor made to suit the needs of the industry and provide trainees with sufficient skills to make them versatile based on industrial trends and needs.

The department has continued to engage with the industry with a view to improve competencies in particular areas of need. The department is the process of establishing industry advisory committee which will play a role advising and linking our training processes with relevant industry.

OURGRADUATES FIND EMPLOYMENT IN:

The department has improved it training facilities over the years, especially in Mechanical Engineering production, by introducing state of the art training machines i.e. Computer Numerical Control(CNC) machinery. This has enhanced the trainings to conform to the dynamic technology experienced by most industries in Kenya
